Can we attach scanned documents?
Yes — documents can be stored against each employee with type, number, dates and the physical location of the original, with files kept in secure storage.
How do expiry alerts work?
A nightly check walks every document, contract, probation and work permit and alerts as each one crosses 90, 60, 30 and 7 days out, then again on the day it lapses. Each rung fires once — the same passport doesn't nag you every night for three months — and everything found in one night arrives as a single digest in the bell, by email for anyone who wants it there, and as an event to Slack, Teams or your own systems if you've set that up. The dashboards and reports still show the same picture on demand; the difference is that nobody has to remember to open them.
Who can see salary information?
Only users with the sensitive-pay permission. Everyone else sees masked values, and access to sensitive data is itself logged.
