Born on a payroll deadline, not a pitch deck
HumanR started inside a Maldives-based group running the kind of operation most HR software has never met: hundreds of staff spread across island resorts, cargo vessels, construction sites and a head office — a dozen nationalities, work permits with hard expiry dates, salaries split between two currencies, and all of it held together by one giant Excel workbook.
The workbook did its best. But every month ended the same way: chasing punches from biometric machines, cross-checking permit expiries by eye, and rebuilding payday from scratch. So the team built the system they couldn't buy — and ran their entire operation on it.
That system became HumanR. It's now built for any operation that looks like that one — islands, vessels, remote sites, distributed crews — wherever in the world they run.

HumanR wasn't designed from a market survey. Every module exists because a real HR team — running resorts, barges and offices at once — hit the wall in Excel and needed it. If a screen is in the product, someone's payday once depended on it.
